REQUIREMENTS:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Ability to manage own practice by accurately recording WIP, billing to target, and keeping debtors under control.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and accounting packages (XERO experience is preferred)
  • Must have at least 3 years of work experience in similar position in Australia or overseas
  • Must have completed Bachelors / Masters of Professional accounting
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

  • Overtime pay

  • Bachelor Degree (Preferred)

  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Analysing income and expenses of a diverse range of clients.
    Attending to client’s monthly and quarterly payroll, superannuation and bookkeeping obligations.
  • Examining the bank statements and reconciling with general ledger entries.
  • Verifying the data integrity of the accounting software system such as Xero, MYOB etc used to manage the client’s financial data.
  • Preparing Business activity statements and Instalment activity statements.
  • Preparing financial statements for diverse range of clients such as sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Preparation of income tax returns for a diverse range of clients and entities.
  • Dealing with various taxation matters including personal and corporate income tax,
  • Liaising with clients and external agencies.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss their day-to-day business needs.
