Key Responsibilities - Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Manage day-to-day accounting processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Support business development by identifying opportunities for process improvement and generating reports that inform sales strategy and growth objectives. Apply selling skills by presenting financial solutions and insights to internal stakeholders and assisting in pricing strategies for client proposals. Facilitate communication between finance, sales, and other business units to promote financial transparency and drive cross-functional collaboration. Collaborate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and management to ensure the integrity of financial data and adherence to statutory guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve complex financial problems, investigating discrepancies and proposing practical solutions in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and comprehensive financial documentation, assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. Required Skills - Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and financial reporting systems. Demonstrates effective selling skills, capable of communicating value and financial insights to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner. Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions under tight deadlines. Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical accounting role, with a record of supporting business growth and commercial initiatives.
