Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Prepare and maintain accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Manage and monitor petty cash transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet.
• Monitor and prepare cash flow reports.
• Handle VAT calculations, reconciliations, and filing in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, material purchases, and related accounting transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Ensure all accounting records are accurate and properly maintained.
• Assist the Finance Manager with financial reports and other accounting-related activities as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing/factory environment.

Good knowledge of full-cycle accounting, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and general accounting.

Experience in VAT filing and reconciliation is preferred.

Understanding of inventory and manufacturing-related accounting.

Experience in preparing or assisting with financial statements and month-end closing.

Good knowledge of accounting/ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, Infor ERP, or similar.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, and calculations.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT requirements is preferred.
