Roles & Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance
2. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, including multi-currency and forex transactions
3. Handle accounts payable/receivable and vendor/client reconciliations
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
5. Ensure timely VAT filing and compliance with UAE FTA regulations
6. Monitor cash flow, forex exposure, and currency conversion entries
7. Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies as required
8. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
9. Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience mandatory
3. Prior experience in a forex brokerage, trading firm, or financial services company strongly preferred
4. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA compliance requirements
5. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems)
6. Advanced MS Excel skills
7. Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
