We are expanding our finance team at Nayax Europe UAB and looking for an Accountant to join us. As an Accountant, you will perform a wide range of tasks, from filing documents and booking to control procedures, within a global and regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Ensure that all supplier invoices are accurately recorded, properly approved, and paid on time. Properly apply the requirements of the VAT and Corporate Income Tax laws for AP accounting. Properly process and archive primary accounting documents. Conduct periodic AP ageing reviews, resolve vendor queries. Prepare VAT-related reports and reconcile tax balances. Other accounting tasks and responsibilities: Perform regular bank uploads and reconciliations, including automatic and manual matching of transactions, investigate discrepancies. Prepare reconciliation files supporting the accuracy of month-end balances. Support vendor, intercompany, and other monetary transfers. Prepare various calculations such as accruals, provisions, other GL adjustments and book journal entries. Maintain accurate and timely records, support process improvements and internal controls. Support finance manager with various ad-hoc analysis and calculations, support audits, and assist with non-routine finance activities. Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit: Solid understanding of general accounting principles. Lithuania VAT accounting principles- Must 1–2 years' experience in AP accounting. Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or a similar subject. Experience with NetSuite and SAP ERP systems would be advantageous. Ability to work with large data sets. Excellent Excel skills. Proactivity, reliability and ambition, as well as a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment. Full professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English.
