ABOUT US

We are a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting youth in need. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee our financial operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with nonprofit regulations, and effective grant and donor fund management. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit accounting, grant management, and financial reporting for stakeholders, including donors and board members.

QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in nonprofit accounting or finance

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, GAAP, and fund accounting.
• Experience with grant management, donor financial reporting, and restricted/unrestricted fund tracking.
• Proficiency in nonprofit accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Nonprofit, Blackbaud, Sage Intacct).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple funding sources and meet diverse financial reporting requirements.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities, with experience mentoring and developing staff.
