Description Responsibilities: Maintains all official accounting records in conformance with generally accepted government accounting principles Ensures responsibility for maintaining general ledger, setting up new accounts and cost centers when required and ensuring reconciliation of control accounts Completes annual agency budget by program, working closely with the Executive Director and the Director of Administrative Services Ensures compliance with annual federal non-profit reports, keeping the agency abreast of latest updates and changes Completes quarterly Mississippi employment security reports Completes monthly and as needed analytical reports for all agency reports Assist with accounting processing in Abila Reconciles bank statements monthly Handles agency surveys and request for agency information from state and federal government agencies Completes audit reports and tables for independent agency auditors in a timely and efficient manner Reviews financial strategies and makes recommendations Performs other duties assigned by the Executive Director Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting four to five years of accounting experience
