Description

We are seeking a qualified and detail‑driven Accountant to support core accounting and financial operations at our Gurgaon location. The role will be responsible for managing end‑to‑end accounting activities, including AR/AP, billing, general ledger, payroll coordination, and financial reporting, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely month‑end close. The ideal candidate will have strong Oracle ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities * Core Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting tasks, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger entries, and Payroll processing. * Revenue & Billing: Handle client invoicing and revenue recognition. Monitor AR Aging reports and maintain accurate service contract accounting. * Oracle ERP Management: Utilize Oracle ERP (Financials, AP, AR, and GL modules) to record transactions, extract data, and improve accounting workflow efficiency. * Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Communicate clearly with management regarding variance explanations and budget-to-actual reports. * Expense Processing: Oversee employee expense claims, ensuring all submissions follow company policy and payments are processed on schedule. * Closing & Reconciliations: Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies to ensure the books are audit ready. * Internal Communication: Serve as a point of contact for financial queries, explaining accounting treatments and status updates to both finance and non-finance team members. Qualifications * Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CA Inter/CA preferred). * Experience: 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in the service sector. * ERP Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP is highly preferred; proficiency in navigating Financials and GL modules is a significant advantage. * Software Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas) for data analysis and reporting. * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively across departments and explain financial details clearly. * Professionalism: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict month-end deadlines #LI-AP1 With a legacy spanning more than 80 years, NSF leverages science and innovation to improve human and planet health.
