Description
Oikonomakis Law Firm is seeking for a full-time Accountant to join our finance team in Athens, Greece. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily financial operations. Manage the firm’s accounts receivable, including invoicing, collection efforts, and dispute resolution. Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure timely payment. Monitor and analyze outstanding invoices and generate reports on collection activities. Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of collections and any potential issues. Prepare financial statements. Ensure ethical and legal compliance. Analyze financial data. Assist with audits. Maintain accurate financial records. Manage budgets. Conduct variance analysis. Process payroll. Collaborate with different departments to ensure financial efficiency and transparency. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial/accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Fluency in English (both written and speaking). Further knowledge on any additional language, double-entry bookkeeping and payroll is desirable.
