Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, GL, AP, AR and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Perform bank, balance sheet and account reconciliations.
• Manage accruals, provisions, prepayments, fixed assets and inventory.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, profitability, billing, retention and variations.
• Handle banking, payments, LCs, bank guarantees and foreign-currency transactions.
• Ensure VAT, corporate tax, IFRS, audit and statutory compliance.
• Maintain strong financial controls, documentation and audit trails.
• Coordinate external audits and provide required schedules and reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow and financial analysis.
• Work closely with operations, procurement, management and banking partners.

Requirements

• ACCA qualified; full membership preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in Oil & Gas Trading, EPC, Energy or related industries.
• Strong IFRS, audit, compliance and financial-control knowledge.
• Experience with banking and trade-finance documentation.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience.
• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
