Accountant – London (Liverpool Street)

Location: London, Liverpool Street (Office-based, Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will:

• Lead month-end management and financial reporting.
• Manage prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, ensuring on-time cash collection and supplier payments.
• Handle banking processes including foreign currency, expenses, and payment runs.
• Support annual budgeting, audits, and tax compliance (VAT, duty, IOSS).
• Lead monthly payroll processes.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial controls and team performance.

Requirements

We are looking for an Accountant with:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AICPA (qualified or part-qualified with relevant experience).
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent IT skills with a proactive, detail-driven mindset.
