Currently, we are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our growing Finance team and to create a meaningful impact on building this future. Feeling the match? Here’s what you’ll be working on: Maintain accurate and up-to-day records of all financial transactions according to local and industry-specific accounting requirements; Handle marketplace and payment service provider (PSP) accounting, ensuring smooth reconciliation between platforms, partners and bank systems; Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable accounting, and inventory accounting across multiple entities; Ensure accurate and compliant tax accounting and reporting (VAT, CIT, payroll, and cross-border taxes); Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines; Lead communication and coordinate preparation of required documentation for auditors, outsourced accountants, tax advisors, and other 3rd parties; Monitor, review, and recommend changes to existing accounting policies and procedures; Assist with the setup of companies and accounting policies. Your part in the bigger picture: Higher degree in accounting or equivalent; At least 2 years of experience in accounting/audit, preferably in a fast-paced, international or e-commerce environment; Good English skills, both written and spoken; Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment; Knowledge of Lithuanian accounting standards; laws, regulations, and taxes, and familiarity with international accounting standards would be considered as an advantage; Excellent MS Excel skills.
