Description

We are seeking a candidate for the Accountant position to join our team in the payment services sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience, including full set accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting rules and procedures, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
  • Meticulous, attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify Japanese characters (Hiragana/Katakana) preferable.
  • Experience in financial audit preferable.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly Financial Reporting : Prepare and review monthly accounts, ensuring all supporting schedules are accurately maintained and documented.
  • Data Reconciliation : Reconcile internal financial data with third-party statements to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Financial Schedules Maintenance : Maintain and update various financial schedules to support overall financial health and reporting.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings and ensure all monthly MAS reporting forms are completed in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Document Management : Organize and file financial documents systematically, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with audit requirements.
  • Ad Hoc Duties : Assist with additional tasks and projects as required to support the finance team.
