WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in specialising in Accounting and Finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- The ability to manage complex spreadsheets and work with financial data.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- A keen interest in continuous improvement and a willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the industry.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing finance team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to further develop your accounting skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reconcile balance sheet and sub-ledgers each month.
- Prepare and analyze financial information to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Conduct account reconciliations to determine accuracy of information
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Preparation of monthly management reports and KPI Analysis.
- Prepare Cash flow reporting against targets and forecasts
- Cost control and analysis
- Preparation of financial statements
- Maintaining accounting systems, budgets, conduct audits.
- Maintaining internal controls
- Prepare GST / BAS returns.
- Ensure tax and payroll tax compliance.
- Report to management and provide support to the finance team.
