We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant / Compliance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial and compliance processes, ensuring timely submission of VAT declarations, corporate tax registrations, corporate tax filings, and payroll compliance. This role also involves assisting clients with bank registration, WPS (Wage Protection System), and ensuring compliance with Free Zone regulations. Preferably female and this position fully remote in the UAE
Key Responsibilities:

1. VAT Compliance:

• Prepare and submit VAT declarations on time for both the company and clients.
• Monitor VAT compliance and ensure adherence to UAE regulations.

1. Corporate Tax:

• Follow up on corporate tax registrations for the company and clients.
• Ensure corporate tax submissions are made within deadlines.

1. Client Support:

• Assist clients with their bank registration process, ensuring all documents are prepared and submitted accurately.
• Support clients in navigating WPS processes, generating payroll slips, and ensuring payroll compliance.

1. Free Zone Compliance:

• Liaise with Free Zones as required to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare responses and documentation for Free Zone inquiries and audits.

1. Financial Reporting & Payroll:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring all data is accurate and timely.
• Support the internal payroll process, ensuring compliance with WPS regulations.

1. Client Liaison:

• Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on their financial compliance status.
• Provide support and answers to client inquiries regarding financial and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and compliance roles in the UAE.
• Proficiency in UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Familiarity with Free Zone regulations and requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Russian/Arabic is a plus).
• Experience with WPS systems and payroll management.
