JOB DESCRIPTION

  • We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our revenue collection, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure full compliance with regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4–7 years of professional accounting experience.
  • ACCA and ICAN certification is required.
  • Strong background in one or more of the following:
  • SaaS company (subscription billing, renewals).
  • Digital marketing agency with project-based billing.
  • Proven experience managing revenue collection and improving cash flow.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of tax and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Highly analytical and able to use data to improve financial operations.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • As our Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including revenue tracking, invoicing, collections, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • You will work closely with leadership to ensure the financial health of the company, support decision-making with accurate data, and implement efficient finance processes that support scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and optimize the end-to-end revenue collection process—from invoicing to follow-up and reconciliation.
  • Ensure all customer billing is accurate and aligned with contract terms, especially for recurring subscription revenue.
  • Maintain clear and timely financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and ensure up-to-date, audit-ready financial records.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and proactively drive efforts to reduce overdue payments.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements.
  • Generate financial insights and trends for leadership to support budgeting and strategic decisions.
  • Support external audits and liaise with tax consultants and regulators as needed.
