OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/ Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s overall financial health. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and procurement strategies. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in procurement or related fields such as corporate finance or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and financial analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Experience with auditing processes is highly desirable.
  • Background in governmental or non-profit accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret financial reports effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. This role is essential for ensuring that our organization operates efficiently while adhering to all necessary legal and financial standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
