Are you an experienced and talented newly qualified accountant looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? Look no further! We are working with our client, a prestigious accountancy practice in Telford, renowned for their commitment to excellence and exceptional client service. They are currently seeking an Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • ACA/ACCA newly qualified or equivalent QBE considered.
  • Strong experience in an accountancy practice, with a proven track record in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
  • Management of client relationships, providing proactive advice and guidance on accounting matters.
  • Conducting complex financial analysis and presenting findings to clients, assisting them in making informed business decisions.
  • Preparation and submission of tax returns, VAT returns, and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff members, providing guidance and support when necessary.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, and implementing relevant updates.
