We are looking for a entry level or Staff Accountant to join our team in Monmouth County New Jersey area. This position is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting invoicing processes, and assisting with monthly closings. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and capable of working collaboratively across multiple departments.
Responsibilities: • Process incoming invoices and inventory entries • Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. • Match completed invoices with cash receipts and reconcile payments as needed. • Maintain and update monthly returns data in spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. • Follow up with customers regarding late payments and request credit information for new accounts. • Provide general administrative support, including emailing principals and customers and preparing financial documentation. • Assist the Controller with monthly financial closings and reporting. • Collaborate with various departments, such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technical teams, to ensure smooth financial operations. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and organizational efficiencies, presenting observations to the team.
