We are partnering with a growing organization in search of a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting , fixed asset management , and full-cycle month-end close . This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3–6+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on property or real estate accounting preferred.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
Strong understanding of GAAP , fixed assets , and depreciation schedules .
Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus.
Real estate, property management, or construction industry experience is highly desirable.
Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules, including depreciation calculations and disposals.
Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement reports.
Manage and participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Support budgeting and audit processes as needed.
Work cross-functionally with property management, operations, and finance teams.
Maintain and manage accounting records in QuickBooks and Excel-based systems.
