Description

We are seeking Accountants and Bookkeepers who have either:

  • Completed SAIPA traineeship
  • Currently studying towards or completed CIMA
  • Registered or eligible AGA(SA) with accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Completed or in the final stages of ACCA qualification
  • Other recognized finance qualification with solid accounting experience

We are looking for a Staff Accountant with 3-5 years experience to support the finance team in daily accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, eager to grow, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
  • SAIPA or equivalent professional designation.
  • 3-5 years experience in an accounting role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Preferable and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    Salary: R25,000 - R40,000 per month (Dependent on Qualifications and Experience)

Responsibilities
  • Process daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries.
