Job Description The Accountant will be a key contributor to the success of the business by providing crucial support to the Commercial and Operations team through cost control, reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role will deliver valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business performance. With a strong focus on accuracy and analytical skills, the Accountant will collaborate across departments, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and play an integral role in the month-end and year-end closing processes. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with financial regulations and supports both internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial and non-financial reports. Assess and manage financial risks to ensure robust control over business operations. Perform CAPEX process and maintain the fixed assets register. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including KPI, P/L, B/S, Inventory, Operations and variance analysis. Managing and leading all inventory related accounts, ensure they are well prepared and reconciled. Business partner with the commercial and operation teams, identify areas for improvement, provide cost analysis and recommendations. Prepare BAS, FBT and other government reports. Engage in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Provide ad-hoc analysis reports as requested. Assist Accounts Payable/Receivable and internal/external audits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5 years of accounting experience in a FMCG/manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of cost accounting Full working rights in Australia Desirable CPA / CA qualified or studying towards it Experience using ERP system and PowerBI Skills & Knowledge High attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to handle high pressured environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
