Job Description:

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration. Preference will be given to candidates working towards their CPA designation.
• 2 to 3 years proven experience in Full cycle Accounting ideally in retail, restaurant, &/or food production industries.
• Experience utilizing Netsuite will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong Financial Acumen & analytical agility
• Detail oriented, organized & ability to meet tight deadlines
• Intermediate - Advanced knowledge in Excel & MS Office.
• Self motivated & results driven; prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing journal entries as needed.
• Assisting with month-end financial reporting on multiple accounting books for review and discussion.
• Manage monthly intercompany billing and reconciliation
• Take part in monthly inventory counts and carryout inventory reconciliations & production costing.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations; monitoring cash flow, & ensuring optimal levels are maintained to meet requirements.
• Preparing monthly credit card summary statements & processing Credit Card Expenses
• Assisting with year-end working papers.
• Assisting with annual budget process for review and discussion.
• Performing various financial analysis and Ad hoc reporting as directed by the Controller.
• Filing monthly GST & Payroll tax returns.
• Assisting with AP & AR duties, other accounting duties as assigned.
• Assisting with system & process implementations & providing feedback on improvements
