Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, email communication, and accounting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and ability to perform under pressure.
  • Motivated, dependable, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in leading the accounts team to manage and execute daily accounting operations.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks and financial reports.
  • Maintain general ledger and manage all accounting entries up to finalization.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions efficiently.
  • Perform account reconciliations and support various bookkeeping tasks as required.
  • Manage all aspects of petty cash, including processing payments, monitoring balances, and handling replenishments.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations (e.g., VAT).
  • Manage cash flow and financial accounting matters, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Familiar with accounting software such as ODDO and Tally Prime.
  • Process bank transfers, bank transactions, and prepare invoices and receipts.
  • Maintain and update financial data in the database for real-time accuracy and availability.
  • Support internal and external HR-related documentation and inquiries.
  • Assist in payroll processing and coordination.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve accounting-related issues proactively.
