Description

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our bar in Dubai. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting, ensure compliance with UAE tax laws (including VAT), and support business decisions through accurate financial reporting. Experience in the F&B or hospitality sector is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B or hospitality
  • Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and WPS requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory control, and cost management in a bar/restaurant setting

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in line with UAE regulations
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements
  • Monitor daily revenue, cash handling, and POS system reports
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with FTA regulations
  • Monitor inventory costs, bar supplies, and assist in stock audits
  • Process staff payroll, gratuities, and ensure compliance with UAE WPS
  • Assist with budget planning, cost control, and forecasting
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies as required
