Work alongside key accounting teams (both internal and external) to partner with the Business in delivering accurate financial results for the Commercial Property portfolio (Retail, Workplace and Logistics).
This includes providing accounting advice when required and ensuring the portfolio is compliant with all regulatory responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting and Reporting of the Asset portfolio.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, half-year, and year-end financial results on behalf of Commercial Property including accruals, journals entries, management reports, cashflows and balance sheet reconciliations and Capex.
  • Prepare Profit and Loss, variance analysis and provide commentary.
  • Support Centre Managers, Asset Managers, Admin Managers and Marketing Managers to deliver a high-quality service to Stockland customers and suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly, half year and full year regulatory requirements for submission to teams such as Tax and Statutory Reporting (BAS, STI).
  • Assist with year-end audit process.
  • Responsible for the delivery of Annual Outgoings statements, involved in the audit of Outgoings statements and preparation of annual Outgoings Estimates.
  • Enhance organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Contribute to team success by working collaboratively with own team members; assisting team members when needed; sharing ideas, knowledge and experience; and seeking to learn from team members.
  • Actively engage in Stockland’s sustainability programs and support the delivery of a community and environmental shared value proposition.
  • Undertake or participate in ad hoc projects/tasks as required.
