Role Overview Synera Renewable Energy (“SRE”) is a leading renewable energy developer in Taiwan, with a pipeline of offshore wind projects across Taiwan and other parts of Asia. SRE is a portfolio company of a fund managed by Stonepeak, a US-based infrastructure fund with regional headquarter in Hong Kong. In the role as the Accountant, you will be responsible for all the accounting matters for all the assigned entities under the SRE group. The role will be based in Taipei, Taiwan. Key Responsibilities To support related accounting and tax activities. Manage periodic closing of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of accounting information. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other internal and external financial reports. Aid in evaluating short-term cash flow forecasts. Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings. Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and procedures. Address ad-hoc requests related to accounting and tax matters. Skills for Success Technically competent in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field Ability to problem-solve and think independently. Attention to detail and good organizational skills. Ability to take full responsibility for quality of work. Ability to work with little supervision and under tight deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to present information clearly orally and in written format and respond to questions from Senior Management, auditors, and other internal or external customers. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage them simultaneously. Experience solving issues as they arise and dealing with multiple variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial accounting. Good presentation and interpersonal skills with a good command of verbal and written English mandatory. Competency with ERP system (SAP or Oracle) is required. Familiar with IFRS and Taiwan general accounting as well as corporate finance principles and processes Prior experience in closing and reporting for multi-location companies on a consolidated basis is preferred.

Key duties include assisting with financial statement preparation, aiding cash flow forecasts, and facilitating annual audits and statutory filings.
