Description
We are searching for an outgoing and self-motivated team member to support our Head Office Team with immediate effect on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract as Accountant for our MEA cluster. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant has main responsibility of managing general accounting activities and tasks such as the following for the MEA markets; Responsibilities General Ledger General account maintenance and reconciliation Inventory monitoring, accounting and reconciliation Intercompany invoicing, accounting, reconciliation and follow-up Fixed Assets management, booking and reconciliation Booking of required entries Ensuring compliance requirements are met Support during audit Any other relevant tasks Reporting Ensuring timely reporting requirements as per Group Guidelines Provide proper supporting documents and reconciliation Coordinate with Group for any queries Support in the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements Support any ad hoc financial reporting requirements Any other relevant tasks Treasury Process payments Manage cash forecast and requirements Coordinate with banks for any issues and concerns Maintain bank KYC and update any changes required in the bank accounts Other tasks relevant to keeping the bank accounts up to date Any other relevant tasks Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, business & finance or accounting diploma preferred 3-5 years Finance experience in General Ledger and Reporting Experience or knowledge in Treasury is an advantage Experience in retail luxury industry is an advantage Knowledgeable in GCC VAT law, especially in UAE and KSA Good analytical skills, attention to details, and compliance mindset Must be proactive, good team player, well presented, outgoing and self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel Adaptability to systems is a must Our Benefits Training and development opportunities within the world's largest luxury group LVMH An interesting job within an exciting international luxury brand Welcome & onboarding training
