Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE

The primary focus of the role is to facilitate the complete, accurate and timely closing of the monthly and quarterly books for a number of EMEA entities and successful completion of external audits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, month-end management accounts preparation, financial reporting and assistance with statutory audits and local tax filings, monthly budget reviews with wider departments, management of accounts payable & receivable and VAT filings. This role will also require support to be provided, as needed, for various operational initiatives. This role will suit someone who is newly qualified and ambitious with an appetite and ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
Reporting to: Group Finance Director/TxWireless Managing Director

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to preparing monthly management packs for EMEA entities including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, accounts reconciliations, P&L analytics and other information requested by Group Finance.
  • Management of accounts payable & receivable for assigned entities.
  • Adhering to the company’s financial policies and procedures.
  • Analysis of variances from budget with budget holders.
  • Support the drafting statutory financial accounts and supporting schedules for assigned entities.
  • Support the audit process to ensure timely completion of all audits.
  • Liaising with the company’s tax advisors to ensure timely completion of all tax filings.
  • Providing support to other areas of the business where needed with regards to financial aspects of each department.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.
