We are looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CA) with a strong background in practice to join our team as an Accounts & Tax Manager. This role is designed for someone who thrives on client-facing work, managing people, and shaping the growth of the firm.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified.
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in tax management or related field.
  • Extensive experience within a UK practice environment (review and delivery focus).
  • Proven ability to manage client portfolios and international clients.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and tax advisory services.
  • Skilled in mentoring, reviewing, and managing junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, organised, and commercial approach to both client work and firm development.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the review and completion of accounts, tax, and corporate assignments for a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development and supervising work quality.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and providing tailored advisory solutions (trusts, corporate structuring, tax planning, and wealth strategies, etc.).
  • Driving improvements in team processes, workflows, and client service delivery.
  • Coordinating with legal, tax, and financial professionals to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Overseeing billing, client records, and ensuring accuracy of internal reporting.
  • Contributing to the wider growth of the firm, including business development initiatives and internal change projects.
