About the Position As we develop our Finance team further, we're excited to offer a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Accountant to come on board to prepare financial reports, budgets and strategic planning to improve profitability and efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accountants duties will include but not limited to: Prepare cost analysis on mining operation and investigate variances to present to managers Identify cost saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasts Conduct risk assessments and advise on mitigation strategies Oversee accounting procedures and implement more efficient financial processes Assist with other reporting and accounting tasks required in the finance team What You Will Bring to Terra Mining Proven experience (2-3 years min) as an Accountant, preferably in the resources or manufacturing industry. Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance is essential Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exposure to Xero accounting systems or similar is essential Advanced MS Excel experience Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Basic experience speaking Mandarin is desired Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
