Job Title: Accountant Location: Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria Job Type: Full-Time (On-site) Salary: ₦400,000 – ₦500,000 monthly (depending on experience) Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insights into the company’s financial health. Key Responsibilities Manage all accounting transactions Prepare budget forecasts and financial plans Publish financial statements accurately and on time Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings Reconcile accounts payable and receivable Ensure timely bank payments and proper cash flow management Compute taxes and prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations Manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements Report on the company’s financial health, performance, and liquidity Audit financial transactions and documentation Maintain financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Handle payroll administration and related statutory deductions Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as an Accountant Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines ICAN certificate is an added advantage
