Accountant Posting Location : Location GR-Athens Category Finance and Accounting Position Type Full-Time Seniority Level Entry level Overview TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant at our Head Office in Athens. This position reports to the Financial and Cost Accounting Supervisor. The primary purpose of this role is to support financial transactions in line with appropriate accounting procedures and to assist in the daily operations of the Accounting department. Responsibilities Perform periodic account reconciliations and daily invoice reconciliations with vendors Prepare and maintain accounting files, reports, and data for financial reporting Post accounting entries Assist with data entry related to accounts payable, provisions, accruals, and other adjustments Perform other required accounting tasks Qualifications University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an ACCA certification, will be considered an additional asset 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the financial sector of a large company or in an Audit or Consulting Services company Knowledge of Financial Accounting, IFRS and of Greek Accounting Standards will be considered an asset Experience with SAP will be considered an asset Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team Fluency in both Greek and English (oral and written) Military Service fulfilled (if applicable) What we offer Private health insurance Pension plan Annual medical check-up Performance-based bonus Prepaid supermarket card Learning &Development opportunities Internship and summer school programs for employees’ children Wellness initiatives and special corporate offers At TITAN we provide equal opportunities for employment, prohibiting any kind of discrimination.
