We are currently seeking an Accountant who will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions assisting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliations in support of the daily functions of the finance department and generally being a backup for other positions. Expected Schedule: FT, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, Flexible Start Time- 8:00am to 4:30pm Essential Responsibilities - Assist with the monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Perform account reconciliations (e.g., cash, bank accounts, prepaids, deferred revenue, and other balance sheet accounts). Record and reconcile cash activity, including bank deposits and transactions. Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules. Support development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred Minimum 2-5 years of related accounting experience preferred An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered Other Skills & Abilities Experience with accounting or ERP systems required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills preferred (e.g., pivot tables, lookups).
