About the role Are you experienced in accounting, have strong analytical skills and continuously drive improvements and simplifications in ways of working? We are looking for an Accountant joining our high-performing finance team in Valencia managing accounting for several entities in Vitrolife Group. This is an opportunity to play a central role supporting our business both locally and internationally. You will have the opportunity to develop both yourself and the role with us in becoming a digitalized Finance! As an Accountant, you will be providing accounting and transactional services and reconciliations to our other affiliates, as well as optimization of internal processes and procedures. It includes hands on daily accounting activities, coordination and problem solving. This role involves numerous touchpoints within the organization. A pro-active, collaborative, and hands-on approach is key, as the role requires working across different levels of the business. Key responsibilities: Drive improvements of internal processes, routines, digitalization, and workflow optimization Day-to-day accounting and transactions activities and reconciliations Sales and purchase invoices management and reconciliations Cash and bank entries and reconciliations Perform closing activities and reconciliations Ensure good and efficient internal controls What We’re Looking For A degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience preferably in a multinational environment. Strong experience in accounting cycles, process flows and improvements. Strong skills in Excel, accounting and office tools Fluent in English, both written and spoken. A mindset that is proactive, collaborative and structured with a “digital first” approach.
