QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Minimum Experience: 2+ years of experience in Accounts Department
Education: Bachelor Degree Finance and Accounts

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Good Communication skills in English (verbal and written) - Arabic is preferred
  • Good Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of International standards (IFRS and IAS)
  • Knowledge and understanding the cost centre for IT field
  • Good knowledge of ERP & Accounting Software (QBO preferred)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Responsibilities
  1. Processing payments, producing statement of accounts, collections on overdue accounts and account reconciliation when required
  2. Establish tables of accounts as instructed, and assigns entries to the proper accounts
  3. Substantiates financial transactions by controlling documentation as per internal policies and procedures
  4. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
  5. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
  6. Provides answers to accounting procedure questions when needed
  7. Processing invoices, following up with vendors and resolving discrepancies in timely manner
  8. Reviews monthly payroll prior to commitment by HR, followed by posting of payroll related amounts to correct accounts
  9. Processing employee expense reports, verifying expenses are within the company guidelines, correcting errors, questioning abnormal expenses and entering data accurate into the accounting system
  10. Ensures accurate and timely preparation, submission and display of all required financial transactions and maintains detailed and accurate records to accurately retrieve data
  11. Perform any other function as may be assigned by the Accounts Manager.
  12. Creates a fiscal year budget.
