We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and support the financial health of our growing operations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The accountant will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of WA Frost. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing financial reports, supporting payroll, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic hospitality environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant industry
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant365, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant financial operations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA or working toward CPA designation.
• Experience with restaurant inventory systems and cost analysis
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex

• Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR or external providers.
• Monitor cash flow and reconcile daily sales reports with POS system.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
• Assist in annual audits and work closely with external accountants.
• Track inventory and cost of goods sold in coordination with kitchen and bar managers.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
