Overview The AR accountant will be responsible for cash application, prepayment identification, and order release. This position requires a proactive mindset and rigorous work habits. During daily operations, the AR accountant will communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Process customer payments and AR entries for cash application on a daily basis. Investigate all payment discrepancies, such as short pays, overpays, unknown payments, and misapplied payments. Identify prepayments and release orders accordingly Handle refund process Assist in Accounts Receivables end-of-month processes Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management team Qualifications Education: Bechelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline 2 years of experience in AR, Billing or Credit & Collection fields Language: Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese High degree of proficiency with Excel (xlookup, pivot table functions) Knowledge of SAP system is preferred Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in analytical instruments, separations technologies, and software, serving the life, materials, food, and environmental sciences for over 65 years.
