EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related fieldACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent qualification (part-qualified may be considered)

EXPERIENCE

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or outsourced services (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles)Prior experience in an outsourcing or professional services environment is an advantage

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)Familiar with Singapore GST and other compliance requirements‍

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Chinese is a must to deal with Chinese clients
• Service-oriented with a professional attitude
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a teamAble to handle multiple clients and tasks simultaneously

• Handle full sets of accounts for multiple clients (monthly, quarterly, or yearly)
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with SFRS or IFRS
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, and journals
• Prepare GST submissions, XBRL filings, and other statutory filings with IRAS and ACRA
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial teams on client matters
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks;
• Assist with onboarding of new clients, including set-up of chart of accounts and opening balances
• Ensure compliance with internal quality controls and firm’s SOPs
