Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and file HST returns accurately and on time, staying up-to-date with current regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings.
  • Generate detailed financial reports and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors and tax authorities.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
