JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Admin Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with payroll and administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically Serti, Quorum and Quickbooks is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, auditing, payroll, and bookkeeping practices
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments

Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate records
  • Utilize accounting software such as Serti, Quorum and Quickbooks.
  • Assist in auditing processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports
  • Support payroll processing by ensuring timely and accurate entry of employee hours
  • Assist with on-boarding processes for new hires ensuring necessary documentation is obtained.
  • Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval and review
