JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting/ Administration Assistant to join our team. This role supports both our financial operations and ensures smooth administrative processes within our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in accounting processes, and proficiency in various office software, including Adagio and Microsoft Office.

SKILLS

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, particularly in serving people with deveopmental disabilities.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Adagio Accounting and other office software for administrative tasks (scanning, etc).
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and documentation management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates to accounting databases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from clients and staff regarding billing and account status.
  • Provide front desk reception service.
  • Organize and maintain files, ensuring all documentation is easily accessible and up-to-date.
  • Utilize computerized systems for efficient record keeping and reporting.
