Description

The Accounting Administrator will work independently and under the Assistant Controller to receive and verify receivables, payables, to help facilitate payroll and other accounting needs as required. Accounting administrator will also be required to, as part of managing receivables and payables, communicate with customers and partners to ensure completion and/or resolution of payments with the aid of the team. To be successful as an accounting administrator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Outlook and Excel, QuickBooks Online and have good communication skills, time management and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma, Certificate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administration role is preferred but not required
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Competency with QuickBooks Online
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and organized record-keeping.
  • Verify and complete subcontractor payroll processes.
  • Work with A. Clark staff members to complete billing, invoicing, payment processing, etc.
  • Work with A. Clark staff members, vendors, and clients to resolve issues.
  • Work under the direction of the Assistant Controller to manage receivables and payables.
  • Provide administrative support to other divisions when necessary.
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations.
  • Managing communication and processing through third party vendor portals.
