THE POSITION:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our accounting team as an Accounting Administrator. In this role, you will oversee accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, payments, and receipts. You will also support other accounting functions, including reconciliation, reporting and data entry. The ideal candidate will have some form of an accounting or finance background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing their tasks. The position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the accounting department and overall operations here at Rebel.
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Certificate or Diploma in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
· 1 – 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role, with focus on accounts payable and/or receivable
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines
· Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
