ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SPECIALIST) – ACCOUNTING SERVICES SECTION / GENERAL LEDGER UNIT / SACRAMENTO HQ
The reporting location for this position is at Headquarters in Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the general supervision of the Accounting Administrator II.
The incumbent independently performs the more complex and difficult accounting tasks to include reconciliation of the 32 funding sources including Fund 6088 (Prop 68) but not limited to for the Department of Parks and Recreation (Department). Acts as the Bond General Ledger (GL) Accounting Lead for the Department and works hand in hand with the Department’s Budget Section, Statewide Bond Office, and control agencies. While this position performs general duties of the General Ledger Unit, this incumbent is also responsible for managing the Prop 68 Plan of Financial Adjustments (PFA) and expenditure database as well as being responsible for all Prop 68 bond related expenditure records into the Agency Bonds Consolidated Reporting System (ABCRS).
Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
This position is designated as telework eligible-remote centered.
