We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Accounting Admin to join us for a one-year contract possibility to extend.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative finance roles.
  • Experience with Business Dynamics preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with vendors, clients, and internal teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Examining bank deposits and posting cash applications to support bank reconciliation
  • Examining expenses submitted by employees, post in Service Call as instructed by Finance Controller (Craig Scott)
  • Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable (POAs), process and post cash applications
  • Maintains an accurate and updated filing system of all paperwork and information
  • Assists with other Accounting duties as directed
  • Performs Health and Wellness duties as defined by the Health & Safety Program
  • Works with and promotes cooperation and enhanced inter-departmental communication between all departments of the Company in meeting SPROUSE standards and goals
  • Is familiar with and supports the policies and procedures, facilities and services offered by SPROUSE Fire & Safety
  • Completes all work assigned to meet all required timelines and adheres to all regulations, laws, acts standards within the Industry
  • Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings, Company functions and training sessions with the respective department leaders to stay current of organizational requirements
