Applicants who require an accommodation throughout the application and interview process should request this in advance by contacting Cielo Talent Acquisition at [email protected]Job DescriptionThe Accounting Analyst role is responsible for ensuring accurate and complete accounting records for Cielo LATAM entities in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, ensuring the monthly financial statement close is completed timely and assisting in other monthly activities, such as billing review, collections, supplier payments, and local tax requirements. This role will coordinate the reconciliation of Cielo records with our third-party accounting firm and working with Cielo tax to ensure accurate and timely tax payments.Work Location: ArgentinaWork Arrangement: RemoteSpecific requirements: Deep expertise in billing and accounting processes for Mexico, including compliance with local tax regulations and reporting standardsLanguage Required: Proficiency in EnglishResponsibilities: Assist with month-end close, including preparation of journal entriesReconcile bank account activity on a monthly basisPost monthly prepaid asset journals and accruals as neededPerform monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accountsPrepare and record intercompany debit and credit notesPerform reconciliation of trial balance to local booksReconcile monthly tax reports to the ledger for submission to government entitiesMaintain the fixed assets registerAssist with recording AR payments received and collectionsAssist with financial statement audits as neededQualificationsExperience:1+ years of relevant experienceFormer regional support with multiple LATAM country experience (ideally ARG-MX-COL-BRA)Experience with Oracle NetSuite (Oracle PBCS is a plus)Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointGood understanding of Local GAAP for each LATAM entity assignedExperience in a service company, preferably employment staffing or recruitingStrong ability to partner / collaborate with local business leadersStrong communication and project management skillsEducation:College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferredFluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus) Position Type: Regular Full-Time (40 hours per week)
