Description:
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable - the accounting analyst will support the finance team with testing, invoice approvals and integration of accounting with the new and existing maintenance operations software (AMOS & RAAS). The role will support multiple parties including accounts payable, the general accounting team and key stakeholders in the technical operations team to ensure timely payment to vendors, reviewing the reporting from the operating software and ensuring accurate accounting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with accounts payable and the tech ops teams to resolve outstanding invoices by ensuring control policy is followed with three way match
- Reconciliation of inventory valuation in AMOS compared to Great Plains
- Testing of integration between AMOS and COUPA and Great Plains
- Other ad hoc accounting and accounts payable projects as required.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelors or post-graduate degree in accounting or business
- Ability to quickly learn new accounting and operating systems and software
- Superior Microsoft Office skills
- Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn Great Plains, Coupa and MRO related operating systems
