Description

Performs general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 3+ years of progressive and diverse accounting and financial analysis experience
  • Strong financial technical skills
  • Experience or knowledge of payroll an advantage
  • Awareness of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work on multiple workstreams, prioritizing the time allocated to each as needed
  • Proven experience of working in a commercially focused finance team, preferably in a fast paced, multi-site, large company
  • Ability to make recommendations on financial actions by analyzing and considering applicable accounting policies
  • A rigorous mind-set and the ability to deliver timely and insightful information
  • Team player and able to work well across different geographies (predominately US/UK/Philippines) and understand the cultural differences
  • Ability to work well under pressure and looking for a new challenge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building capabilities with the ability to quickly form working relationships and gain credibility with others
  • Strong analytical and business partnering skills
