JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field
• Basic work experience in financial accounting or investment analysis
• Strong interest in investment management with a passion for continuous learning and improvement

• Check daily journal entries, e.g. cash flows, bank account adjustments and general ledger entries;
• Perform month end accounts closing within the stipulated deadline;
• Perform journal entries and reconciliations for accounts closing;
• Perform analysis of accounts and prepare monthly accounting / audit schedules;
• Prepare monthly and year end consolidated accounts and financial statements;
• Prepare monthly reports for internal management purposes as assigned by the Supervisor;
• Prepare and summarize data for statistical survey reporting;
• To provide support for statutory tax compliance and reporting GST;
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies;
• Assist in the preparation of forecast, budgets and business plans;
• To review and analyze financial performance and highlight issues for management action;
• To play an active role in process and system improvements;
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
